Type: Terrain Representation Map / Contest Route Guide

This is a terrain representation map showing the route and stations of a imaginary road cycling contest in China.

For representing the natural landscape of China (my "motherland"!) as realistically as possible, I applied multiple texture, pattern, brightness, and opacity effects to the hillshade and land cover layers in Photoshop.

Besides the map itself, terrain types, climate types, and temperature variations for each station were also provided in order to better inform participants the overall difficulty/ challenge of the contest.
